Wuwei Vocational College?(WWVC)?is a comprehensive?higher vocational university, which is situated in Wuwei City, Gansu Province, a key node city on the Belt and Road and renowned as the?Capital of Tourism Symbols in China. Approved by the People's Government of Gansu Province in 2003, Wuwei Vocational College?has?a long history of education and profound cultural heritage, whose predecessor is Wuwei Normal School?founded in 1915. Over the past 20 years, it has successively been identified as the national backbone higher vocational college, provincial model school, provincial high-quality school?and provincial “Double First Class”?school. More than 50,000?graduates with?high-quality technical and skilled talents have been delivered to Gansu Province and even the whole country?for?economic and social development.

Occupying around 291 acres of land in total, WWVC has a construction area of 412,950 square meters. Now there are 10,226?full-time college students studying and living here?and 631 full-time teachers, among which, there are 228 with senior titles, 345 holding master's?or doctoral degrees, and 356 Provincial Double Professional teachers. Additionally, 5 teachers are awarded as Provincial Famous Teacher, 6 teachers?with the Gardener Award.
